creative & communications director

Responsibilities Include:

  • Aid the CEO in on boarding new clients

  • Create content plans for clients post-strategy session

  • Manage content creation and execution of the client's content marketing plan

  • Strategic development of client campaigns and projects

  • Manage marketing & digital interns

Required Skills:

  • Is able to manage client social media feeds on content planning app, Later

  • Is proficient in Mailchimp and Constant Contact e-mail marketing

  • Is able to read and evaluate client social media and e-mail analytics and translate analytics to marketing strategy

  • Is able to communicate clearly the progress of marketing monthly/quarterly initiatives to clients and the monumental team

  • Has experience with the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere) & Canva 

Core Competencies:

  • Passionate about the growth of locally-owned companies and wants to use his/her design skills to activate the creative community in Hamilton County & the broader region

  • Able to grasp the five to ten-year goals of monumental as a company and be a part of the management team executing those goals

  • Very organized

  • Attentive and driven by deadlines

  • Outgoing and will send reminders and documents

  • Professional in written and verbal communication

  • Able to manage multiple projects at once

  • Create an ecosystem where team is aware of expectations, delivery dates, and client strategies

Requirements:

  • BA or BS in Marketing or a Similar Field

  • 2-4 years of relevant marketing experience

Content is the gasoline for Monumental’s vehicle. In this internship, you will work directly with our CEO to create the best content for our clients. If social media is your bread and butter, look no further! 

Internship Logistics

  • The Fall Internship Program runs from through December 6, 2019

  • Applicants must be college Juniors or Seniors

  • All internships will require 15-20 hours of work per week

  • Interns will be compensated with college class credits or a monthly stipend

Interns will meet with the Monumental team on a weekly basis, be on-site with clients and spend half of the internship hours from where he/she sees fit.

Interns are an integral part of the Monumental team. This is not a ‘run for coffee’ kind of role! We look for interns who are motivated, looking to grow their skills and are ready to be in a start-up environment.

Monumental's marketing & design intern works directly under our CEO. The intern aids the team in executing marketing plans for each client and researches new trends in the events and digital marketing fields. If social media is your bread and butter, look no further!
